Scope and Contents

This collection is comprised of a single photograph of Augusta Georgia's Broad Street, circa the early 1900s. It is mounted on paper board, and includes a pink printed label on the back of the item, which reads: "general views in and about Augusta, Georgia: Instantaneous view of Broad St and the Monument, photographed by the Augusta Art Gallery, H.C. Hall, manager. 712 Broad Street, Augusta, Georgia."

Scope and Contents This collection consists of 1800 19th and 20th century photographs depicting a range of subjects, which include: buildings and scenes of Augusta, Georgia, images of the American Civil War, individuals, and local events. The majority of the photographs were added to the collection by the Augusta Richmond County Historical Society and the Reese Library...
